Welcome to the Evendale church of Christ website. We strive to be nothing other than the church Jesus Himself established, maintaining the teaching and practices as revealed in the Bible alone. The Bible speaks of an evening valley or "evendale." In Zechariah 14, the prophet foretells the fall of Jerusalem, but he declares that a remnant will flee in the evening through a valley with light to dispel the darkness of night. This remnant foreshadows the church. Our desire at Evendale is to be such a people, following and reflecting the light of God's word and guiding souls in darkness to the living waters found only in Christ and His church. |
